No. 11 is a traditional croft house, on a working croft, which stands in its own garden overlooking Diabaig bay and over to the Applecross and Skye Hills.
Diabaig is an ideal base for walking. For more experienced climbers the Munros of Beinn Alligin, Liathach and Beinn Eighe are within easy driving distance. For those less experienced there are the lower level walks from Diabaig shore to Wester Alligin and Diabaig's wester end to Craig and on to Red Point.
On these magnificent walks you may be lucky enough to see some of the local wildlife such as red deer, foxes, pine martins, otters, eagles, buzzards and divers.
For those who enjoy a spot of fishing the two lochs at Upper Diabaig have small brown trout which make a lovely meal. Boat trips for sea angling occur regularly from Gairloch pier in the summer months as do trips to see the local sea life such as porpoises, seals and sometimes in the summer bottlenose and common dolphins and whales.
The cottage offers well equipped, warm and comfortable accommodation. All bed linen is supplied as well as cleaning materials, towels, tea towels, and bath mats. A cot is available if required. Free range eggs and shellfish can be bought locally.
